# LOADLESS

> LOADLESS is the AI back-office operating system for pool service companies. Pool software handles the route; LOADLESS handles the operational load around the route: follow-ups, payment chasing, quote preparation, equipment aging, water-test interpretation, review replies, and owner decisions. It works alongside existing route and billing software (such as Skimmer) instead of replacing it. Every customer-facing or money-related action waits for the owner's approval.

## Key facts
- Who it is for: owner-operators and 2–20 technician pool service companies, including multi-route, HOA and commercial operators, that already run route/billing software.
- What it does: checks the company's own records (customers, water tests, payments, visits, equipment install dates, quotes, work orders, tasks, chemical stock), sorts every item by who has to carry it, and tells the owner only what needs their judgment.
- Control model: four escalation tiers. Tier 1 Autonomous (handled; owner told afterwards). Tier 2 Proactive (handled, with reasoning shown). Tier 3 Propose & confirm (nothing happens until the owner approves). Tier 4 Needs you (LOADLESS stops and waits). A "Pause automation" switch stops everything. Actions are written to an activity log.
- Does it replace Skimmer or route software? No. It is designed to work alongside it. There is no direct Skimmer integration today.
- Does it send texts or sync billing? Not today. SMS (Twilio), QuickBooks and Google Reviews are not connected. LOADLESS prepares and recommends; the owner or office sends. Quotes and inspections can be shared with customers by link, and customers can approve a quote on their phone.
- How it uses AI: recommendations are built from the company's own records by fixed, pool-specific rules. Where a language model is used to explain reasoning or answer questions, the answer is labelled "AI-assisted"; answers built directly from records are labelled "From your data". It never invents figures.
- Load Score™: a 0–100 measure of how much the business is asking of the owner's attention; lower is better. Built only from counts of real items in the account.
- Pool-specific: Langelier Saturation Index (LSI) and dosing calculator, water-test reading (algae, scaling and corrosion risk), equipment life tracking (pumps, filters, heaters, salt cells), equipment error-code lookup (common Hayward AquaRite, Pentair IntelliChlor/IntelliFlo messages), VGB/safety inspection checklist, service opportunity spotting.
- Pricing (per company, per month, month to month): Starter $149, Pro $299, Growth $499. Some Growth features (voice assistant for routine calls, multi-location) are planned, not yet built.
- Availability: early access. Companies are onboarded personally by the founder. A public demo with sample data is at https://loadless-ai-os.pages.dev/demo
- Security facts: email/password sign-in, encrypted connections, PostgreSQL with row-level security so each company reaches only its own records, data export to CSV for every table. No SOC 2 or other certification is claimed.
